My First Virtual Meeting

Which of the following best describes a Virtual Meeting?

  1. A Zoom call on steroids
  2. A website
  3. An in-person meeting on a much, much, much smaller stage
  4. The Nightly News

If you answered “Yes,” you’re right.

It took the combined talents of creative allies Ken Wojcieszek of Gryphn Studios to design the Platform and Jeff Maslouski of Provident Creative to edit and animate the video elements; Unbridled Solutions LLC to build the Platform and direct the live event; Gemini Productions to provide the studio crew in Nashville; and a very trusting client to deliver the two-day event. In the post-meeting survey, the client remarked,
“I can’t believe they made a virtual meeting that engaging.  Amazing!”

Opportunity Centric Marketing

Opportunity Centric (or Pursuit-based) marketing increases sales success when pursuing high-value opportunities.

From understanding buyer values to presentation and delivery team selection, consistent and persistent communication across multiple channels focuses on the win themes that differentiate the sales organization.

I have led creative and production teams for multiple clients that have delivered winning results.

Playing to Win

For ten years, I led the team that produced Zurich’s Annual Management Meeting, “Playing to Win.”

From theme and graphic development to video and presentation support. From staging and scenic for audiences of 500 to intimate on-the-road gatherings in a dozen cities. From print support to games on the tables to keep the audience focused on the message.

We pivoted as needed to support Zurich’s leadership team.

DePuy National Sale Kick-off Meetings

After supporting a Bond-esque sales kick-off meeting in Palm Beach, we delivered The Winning Hand in Las Vegas (including a private concert with Sheryl Crowe).

We were set for a Mardi Gras-style celebration in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit.

In four months, we changed locations, themes, staging, entertainment and Conquered the Americas from Puerto Rico.

100th Anniversary Celebration

Having worked alongside BDO’s leadership team for a decade, we were invited to be part of the Centennial Planning Committee.

The theme and graphic design we created were adapted across print, video and the web.

On-camera interviews with partners resulted in video podcasts that were launched throughout the year and provided content for weekly news postings on the company’s intranet site.

The 100th Anniversary book was designed and print by the team.

Gateway for Cancer Research

Today, cancer accounts for an average of 11,500 deaths/week in the United States.

Novel and innovative therapies offer hope where once there may have been none. I have had the privilege of telling the stories of many of the researchers, clinicians and cancer patients who are part of the clinical trials that advance these treatments.

These stories support the fundraising efforts of Gateway for Cancer Research,  where 99 cents of every dollar donated helps fund clinical trials.

About Me

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, I am the oldest of five and the only girl.

I attended Catholic grade school and two all-girl Catholic high schools (Marymount and the Academy of the Visitation).

Mononucleosis my senior year gave me time to write a play which my class chose to produce.

A National Merit Scholar, I entered Northwestern University as a sophomore graduating with a degree in Radio, TV, Film Communications from the School of Speech and a Pre-med minor.

Summers in college, I interned at KMOX Radio and landed my first full-time job as the Audiovisual Media Coordinator at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis.

Moving to Chicago, I spent eight years at the Prudential Insurance Company training sales agents and staging four regional sales conferences each year.

I married video design engineer Rich Morris and gave birth to daughter Casey. We spent two years in Indonesia as consultant to Surya Citra Televisi where we trained a team who had never seen commercial television in station operations and production for two stations – one in Surabaya on the eastern end of the island of Java and one in Denpasar on the island of Bali.

Back in the states, I worked independently for corporate clients before committing to a boutique agency in Chicago as Executive Producer for the next 19 years.

Sale of the company gave me the chance to spend a couple of summers with the grandkids (a 13-year-old competitive dancer and an 11-year-old actor), explore sales, stage job fairs, help design and create costumes for three locally produced plays (in which my grandson had starring roles) and remember just how much I love being a writer, producer and director.

About the Alliance

As a writer-producer my job is to envision the art of the possible. But vision means nothing without the video production teams, designers and photographers that bring the vision to life. These are some of the people I have worked with over the years and with whom I am now proud to be allied.

Tells persuasive stories, designs compelling imagery and delivers quantifiable results.

Design with Purpose.

Extraordinary nature photographer.
